This Car was not found in the junk pile or was rotted out to no end in a barn yard like others I have seen that were restored or passed off as so called OEM and over restored. 1969 1/2 Plymouth Roadrunner A12 Sedan... one of the few {388} 4 speed sedans. THIS CAR HAS BEEN MY BABY FOR 40 YEARS!!! Original A12 440 6bbl Roadrunner RM21M factory 4 speed sedan --- I am the 2nd owner-purchased in 1976 from Scott Alexander. He bought new from Russ Darrow in Milwaukee in May of 69. Serial # RM21M9A298944---{please keep confidential unless sharing with SERIOUS BUYER only} Fender Tag Matches- 60,000 + miles--HAS BEEN A Garage Queen since 1977.. Originally Forest Green Metallic with black vinyl top/bench seat car. It has a Very Smooth Show Quality Dupont Midnight Black Paint enamel {no Clearcoat} on it now!! Bumpers have been sanded and painted in Matching Black. All the original floor is 98% Intact- All original sheetmetal is intact and is 98% RUST FREE!!! It Has been patched on lower rear drivers quarter panel bottom only. ORIGINAL HOOD [not repro] AND IS IN EXCELLENT SHAPE!!!!! Has all new front Suspension Parts and Urethane bushings-modified for 1/2 -3/4 degree Negative camber and near zero toe out in full suspension travel. {in other words coming down from wheel stands} Includes another spare set of Brand New Ball joints-tie rods-idler and pitman arms-torsion bar adjusters, bushings, etc. Original HEATER BOX with all the control unit has been removed from car -but saved and is in very nice conditon. OEM seatbelts HAVE BEEN saved. Original grill,markers lights etc. all intact and in very nice condition! It has American Custom AR500 wheels and M/T SR Radial Tires. It will accommidate 15x12 on rear with 7" rear spacing or 3/8 pos. offset--15x6 std. on front. M/T S/R Radials 31x16.00x15 LT and 26x8.00x15LT fit nicely. THE CARS INTERIOR WAS APART RECENTLY AND NOW HAS NEW LEATHER SEATS-HEADLINER-DASH PADS-ARMRESTS AND -NEW OEM STYLE CARPETS WITH REFLECTIVE HEAT PADS TO ACCOMMIDATE THE NEW Very CLOSE TO BODY DR.GAS EXHAUST. It has a 10pt Alston cage and mildly tubbed. 60,000+ miles-Has been a drag car since 1978. Cage mounted on 6x6 plates that can be cut away from floor easily. Subframe connectors nicely put in as to not butcher the frames. No butchering was done to install Competition Engineering tubs.. I removed factory tubs and very little extra metal for it. Lowered side bars for cage included but not installed. Modified Superstock Rear Springs have been moved to under factory frame-but NOT Butchered up-Has Competition Engineering Ladder bars-Alston Housing Floaters with Koni adjustable shocks{new} all the way around! Competition Engineering Wheel Bars. Has NEW 11x2.5 ceramic rear drum brakes with finned drums! NEW WILWOOD LIGHTWEIGHT ALUMINUM FRONT HUBS , 4 PISTON 10.75 ROTORS AND CERAMIC RACING PADS. 16 Gallon JAZ Street Fuel Cell with Foam and Sender Hooked to Factory gauge. THE TRUNK WAS NOT BUTCHER EITHER FOR THIS {it was nicely done}! Dual Holley Race Pumps feed the carbs at 8.5psi internally regulated. The engine is fresh and has only been fired and rings seated since freshening up. New rings bearings valve springs etc. Could Run 10,s easily all day and run at 8500+ RPM without worry!!!! 1970 V code 440 block- Custom Diamond .030 TRW Flat tops with valve reliefs-.090 zero gap Sealed Power top rings yeild 11.4 to 1 compression. It Makes 45+ more horsepower with this exhaust on over open headers It is Guaranteed to meet all 95 decible and less Rules and NO BACK POPPING LIKE OTHER MUFFLERS & EXHAUSTS. {ever hear a nascar stocker-they almost go to idle tones when the gas is let off} THIS EXHAUST IS BRAND SPANKING NEW!!! CUSTOM {$$$3500.00+} MCCLEOD BB/LONG custom FULLY ADJUSTABLE {500lb to 2700lb} PESSURE PLATE WITH CARBON FIBER 10.5" lightweight CLUTCH DISC AND ALUMINUM W/ BILLET STEEL INSERT 172 tooth FLYWHEEL. It is set at 1150 lbs right now!! It works great-no parts breakage with this set up. Has Lakewood current clutch can. Custom Hi RPM release bearing by Mcleod. This clutch disc will last about 100-200 passes in competition without replacement and is used by many Mopar 4 speed racers who use the same set up.. At 6500rpm launch --it now leaves like a Trans Brake Automatic with no parts breakage or clutch wear after the disc was Heat seated in after 1/2 dozen 1/2 track passes. .. 2 --Count them- thats 2 Liberty Pro shifted A833 18 spline Transmissions-- one with 2.93 low gear--- and one with 2.74 low gear that is a close ratio T/A modified gear set. Both are mainly fresh tansmissions- and the 2.93 low gear trans has 35 or so passes on it The 2.74 is fresh. The OEM 2.66 Low Gear Hemi 4 speed is included and is in near mint shape. A Super Shifter and a Verticle gate shifter-both rebuilt are included---Verticle gate in car now. A Custom driveshaft made with large joint nascar yokes and billet ends-Moroso joints and U joint Girdles. Has Custom Made Driveshaft Loop attached to trans Crossmember {not store bought} Brand new -Stewart Warner Xtreme 2 5/8 Guages-OIL-Water-Electric Fuel Pressure and 5"inch Tach with shift light . Car was removed from SuperStock Competition and put back into streetable trim with all wipers and lights working,nicer seats etc. This is a street legal 10second capable car. New Alston dropped side bars and windshield bar for the cage are included. 3" racing belts and window net are included. All engine/ trans/rearend etc. machine work on all parts is done by myself {CNC VMC Turning center machinist} and major engine prep/balancing done at Mick's in Racine Wi. {Great work as they pay attention to all the little details-no corners/costs are cut}.. They also do Alcohol Drag/Sprint Car engines & FAA approved airplane engines. As previously mentioned--2 Liberty Pro shifted A833 18 spline trannies- 2.66 low Gear Oem Hemi 4 speed in great shape and 2.93 low wide ratio Pro Shift trans and a 2.74 low gear close ratio Pro shift trans for concrete tracks. all have pro nickle gears-modified cluster gears and conter gears with torrington bearings etc. 2.74 is fresh and the 2.93 has 35 or so passes on it.. All shift great just by letting up on the gas slightly and you do not have to use the clutch to shift them..but you can use the clutch if you want... Spare 1968-69 U code block-all fully prepped. .030 over-line honed-new cam bearings-frost plugs-new prepped and fitted STD Size Crank- New fresh heads with new valves and 3 angle valve job-new race springs/retainers/locks etc. No pistons and rods in it yet. I know what car this engine originally came from and it would be worth mega $$$ to the cars owner as the #'s match.. 3 Instrument clusters from roadrunners-- a factory 8 track/am radio from a 68-69 b-body from a GTX I used to own{works} -some crossmember parts- motor mounts, shifter parts-stock engine parts- carb parts-headlight parts- markers-switches--etc.... to numerous to list but all 60's/70/s car parts in my shop will----Go with the car!!! {except parts for my current vehicles {2- 79 Dodge Trucks} I am driving}
